NOTA

Nota.
Not a ramp.

Two people and a proof.

NOTA is a peer-to-peer on-ramp to Robinhood Chain. You pay a real person with Pix, prove that payment from your own bank session, and the seller's escrowed USDG is released to you. No exchange, no middleman holding funds, no KYC database.

How a buy works

The seller's USDG is locked before you send a single real.

  1. 01

    Choose

Pick an amount in BRL or USDG, what you want to receive, and where it should land.

    Where: This site

  2. 02

    Reserve

You sign an intent. The contract reserves the seller's USDG for you for 15 minutes.

    Where: On-chain

  3. 03

    Pay

Send the exact amount by Pix, from your own bank, to the seller's key.

    Where: Your bank

  4. 04

    Prove

Your device makes a zkTLS proof from your bank's own HTTPS response showing that payment, and nothing else.

    Where: Your device

  5. 05

    Receive

The contract checks the proof and releases the USDG, optionally swapped into a stock token or a Pons token in the same transaction.

    Where: On-chain

Your nota is your proof

An outgoing Pix transfer of amount A to recipient key K occurred at time T with end-to-end ID E.

That sentence is everything the proof says. It is made from your bank's own HTTPS response, not a screenshot.

Proven on-chain

  • Amount paid
  • Payment time
  • Seller's Pix key, hashed
  • Pix end-to-end ID, hashed into a one-time nullifier
  • The intent it unlocks

Stays on your device

  • Your bank login
  • Your balance and statements
  • Every other transaction
  • The raw inputs to the proof

What can't be hidden

  • The seller sees your name and masked CPF on their Pix receipt. That's how Pix works.
  • What NOTA hides is the on-chain link between you and the wallet that receives the funds.

Built so nobody holds your money

Escrow before payment
The seller's USDG is reserved on-chain when you create the intent. It can't be withdrawn while you pay.
One payment, one fill
Each Pix end-to-end ID becomes a nullifier. A payment can unlock exactly one fill, ever.
Copied proofs are useless
A proof is bound to your intent and your recipient. Nobody can front-run it and take your USDG.
A relayer, not a custodian
The relayer pays gas and submits transactions. It can't redirect funds: every action needs your signature.
Pausing can't trap funds
An emergency pause stops new offers and intents only. Seller withdrawals and valid proofs always go through.

Fog Mode

Other peer-to-peer ramps let the seller see which wallet got paid. Fog Mode delivers to an address only you can link to yourself.

Stealth addresses
Each fill goes to a fresh one-time address derived from your stealth meta-address. Your wallet finds it and sweeps it.
Shielded balance, later
Delivery straight into a shielded pool, so the on-chain recipient is a pool, not an address.
Cost
Free above a $NOTA holding threshold; a small flat fee otherwise. Amounts are set before launch.
Seller's escrow
NOTA contract
One-time address
Only your wallet can tell this address is yours
Your wallet
Fog Mode delivery: escrow to contract to a one-time address that only your wallet can recognize.

Five readings of one word

  • Not a rampThere is no company in the middle holding money. Two people and a proof.
  • None of the aboveNot a bank. Not an exchange. No KYC.
  • Nota, the banknotePortuguese and Spanish for a bill. Cash in.
  • Nota, the receiptAs in nota fiscal. The proof of payment is your nota.
  • Note, the shielded balanceIn privacy systems, a shielded balance is called a note.

Sell USDG from your own bank account

Sellers lock USDG in escrow, set their own price and get paid by Pix directly. Nobody in between holds the reais or the USDG.

Open the seller desk
  • Set a price in BRL per USDG, limits per buyer and a daily cap.
  • Only a hash of your Pix key goes on-chain. With a random key, buyers never learn your CPF or phone.
  • Withdraw liquidity that isn't reserved, at any time.
  • A USDG bond backs your offers and sets how much you can have open.

$NOTA comes last

The token launches on Pons only after the website and the ramp are fully working. There is no presale.

There is no $NOTA token today

Anything trading under that ticker right now is not NOTA. The official contract address will be published on the Stats page, in the docs and from @notaramp once it exists.

What it's for

  • Protocol fees and Pons creator fees fund manual buybacks. Bought tokens are burned and every burn is logged publicly.
  • Holders pay a lower protocol fee and get free Fog Mode above a threshold.
  • Sellers stake it for rank and limits, and earn fill rewards from a publicly labeled vault.
  • First-time buyers get a small $NOTA cashback on their first fill.
  • Holders vote on the next payment rail.

NOTA stays fully usable with zero $NOTA.

Where the build is

NOTA is pre-build. This is the order things ship in.

  1. Phase 0Now

    Verify

Confirm chain parameters, choose the first bank and proof provider, and prove one real Pix payment end to end on a fork.

  2. Phase 1

    Contracts

Escrow, verifier, nullifier and seller registries, fee router and stealth delivery, with invariant tests.

  3. Phase 2

    Proof client

In-browser proof flow for the first bank, plus a mobile path if that bank needs one.

  4. Phase 3

    Backend

Indexer, relayer, API and monitoring: a convenience layer that can never move funds.

  5. Phase 4

    Frontend

Buy and sell flows, seller dashboard and stats, in Portuguese and English.

  6. Phase 5

    Audit and closed beta

External audit, invited sellers with bonds, capped fills and a bug bounty.

  7. Phase 6

    Public launch, then the token

The ramp opens to everyone. $NOTA launches on Pons after that.
