NOTA is software, not a custodian
NOTA is non-custodial software that connects two people: a seller who escrows USDG in a smart contract and a buyer who pays that seller directly by Pix. NOTA never holds your reais or your crypto, and no protocol float exists.
Reversals
A Pix payment that has been proven can still be reversed through the fraud-refund mechanism (MED) for up to 80 days, and an accepted claim can freeze the seller's Pix account. Sellers carry this risk. Read the seller playbook before selling.
The stablecoin
The beta settles only in USDG, a stablecoin issued by Paxos. Its issuer can freeze or pause it, and Robinhood Chain's operator can delay or filter transactions. NOTA can't override either.
No guarantees
NOTA is provided as is. Bank adapters can break when banks change their websites, and a disabled adapter can stop proofs for that bank. Smart contracts can contain bugs despite testing and audits.
Data
NOTA stores almost no personal data. It never stores bank credentials, statements, raw proof inputs, CPFs or names. Buyer reputation uses a payer ID hashed with a secret key and kept off-chain. NOTA's services don't keep IP addresses beyond the request, though hosting and network providers may keep short-lived logs. Activity history lives only in your browser. Contact: contact@notaramp.com.
The $NOTA token
The token doesn't exist yet and launches only after the ramp works. Its terms will be published before launch. No return is promised.
Trademarks
Pix is a brand of the Central Bank of Brazil. Robinhood is a trademark of its owner. NOTA isn't affiliated with either and uses these names only to describe the payment rail and the network.
