YouUSDG in escrow

BuyerPays by Pix

The buyer's Pix lands in your bank account. Once their proof checks out, the contract releases your escrowed USDG to them.

Getting set up

  1. 01

    Post a USDG bond

Connect a wallet and lock a bond. It's fraud collateral and sets your maximum open exposure.

  2. 02

    Prove your Pix key

Prove once, from your bank, that the random key is yours. Only keccak256(key) is stored.

  3. 03

    Deposit and list

Deposit USDG and create an offer: price, limits per buyer and a daily cap.

  4. 04

    Withdraw any time

Unreserved liquidity is always yours to withdraw, even if the protocol is paused.

Draft an offer

Only random keys (chave aleatória) are accepted; create one in your bank app. It's hashed on this device and never saved or sent.

Bond and stake are different things

USDG bond
Required. Fraud collateral. Scales how much you can have open. Slashed if you lose a dispute.
$NOTA stake
Optional. Affects your rank and limits. Not collateral, because it's too volatile. Burned if you're slashed.

Reversals: read this before you sell

A proof shows a Pix payment happened. It doesn't make it final. Through Pix's fraud-refund mechanism (MED), a payer can ask for the money back for up to 80 days, and an accepted fraud claim can freeze your whole Pix account. The main risks are a buyer who pays, takes the USDG and then files a claim, and scammers who send stolen money through you.

What NOTA does about it

  • Buyer reputation from a payer ID that's hashed with a secret key and kept off-chain. New payer IDs get small limits.
  • Large first-time fills settle after a cooling period. You can opt into instant fills for small amounts.
  • A slice of protocol fees seeds a reversal fund for sellers who followed the rules.
  • The dispute process can freeze a payer ID after a confirmed reversal.

What you should do

  • Use a dedicated bank account for selling.
  • Keep records of every fill.
  • Answer your bank's inquiries promptly.
  • Don't move received reais onward right away; refund tracing can follow them.
